Woodbridge Bowling Center has been in business for more than 40 years.
The center, at 346 Main St. in Woodbridge, announced it will close on Sunday, May 21.
The owners are retiring, according to the message on the center’s website.
“It is with the most heartfelt words that we let all of you know, after 40+ years under the management of Joey D and 20+ years under the ownership of the DiSilvestros, Woodbridge Bowling Center will be closing their doors at the end of the day May 21st,” the message said. “It is time to take the next step in our lives and enjoy retirement.”
The center is expected to be turned into a self-storage facility.
The bowling center will host a final closing event during Memorial Day weekend.
“Please stop in and join us in celebrating WBC one last time during Memorial Day weekend (Friday, 5/26 4 pm to close and Saturday, 5/27 2 pm to close) for bowling and drink specials open only to our bowlers past & present (and families),” the center wrote.
